In New York City, there is an elite private school known as Duchesne. It is attended by the city's richest and best pedigreed youth, whose top priorities are fashion, popularity, and the opposite sex.
That is, those were their top priorities, until one of the Dchesne girls is murdered, her blood drained. Suddenly certain Duschesne students find themselves in horrible danger- for the dead girl was a vampire, and until her body was discovered there had been no record of the death of an immortal.
And this revelation leads to another, as the committee of vampires realizes their need to tell the not-yet-aware young vampires about their heritage. Duchesne's students have different opinions on this- to Bliss, the knowledge is a relief; to Schuyler, the whole thing sounds silly; and to Mimi, who already knew of her heritage, no longer being the youngest Blue Blood is an outrage.
But....the more important thing is how you take it. Are you even a blue blood? Or are you a red (like Oliver), blue (like Bliss), half (like Schuyler), or even...silver- the unknown and most deadly of all. Create your own character to wander around the gilded streets of NYC and find out what it is really like.
